Whitehorse
Whitehorse is the major town in the area, and the main airport for tourists like me. The airport is located on top of a flattened out hill that overlooks the town.

As you fly in, you can follow the railway as it runs into town. Sadly, the WPYR do not currently run trains to here, but at least the rails are still there.

Today, the only thing running on the rails in White Horse is a street car. Its a small single truck car from Portugal, but was not running when we got there.

The SS Klondike, a stern-wheeler, was open, and is worth viewing. John and I had a personal tour, and found the Parks guide most interesting. She is the last of her kind in the Yukon Territory, once one of many in the WPYR riverboat fleet.
